Neil Horsky

Neil Horsky is a community artist and educator based in Boston. His interdisciplinary work promotes dialogue, facilitates collective creative action, and addresses social issues through public intervention art, interactive and participatory art installation, collaborative arts-based games, and arts-integrated curricula.

Neil holds a BA in Art from UMass Boston and an MEd in Community Art and Education from Lesley University. He.has taught public art courses for teens at Boston Center for the Arts and for Urbano, and led creativity and collaboration workshops at UMass Boston, NuVu Studio at MIT, Creative Union Gallery, and Reebok Advanced Concepts department. He has received public art commissions from First Night Boston, The Boston Book Festival, and The Wooly Fair, and lectured on his public art practice at New England Foundation for the Arts, Lesley University, the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, and elsewhere.
